Do coins expire?

Purchased coins don’t. They stay in your account balance permanently, with no expiration date. Free or bonus coins can expire.

By card, directly in the app — the checkout opens without leaving Ohlala.

Does Ohlala take a commission on the date fee?

No. The date fee flows entirely between the woman and the man. Ohlala earns from coins for paid actions such as opening a chat.

Verification and safety

Is KYC mandatory on Ohlala?

No. Verification is optional for men and women alike: either the ID check (KYC) or a live selfie taken from several shots makes you verified and adds the badge to your profile. Only verified members can apply for dates.

Which documents are accepted?

ID card, passport or driver’s license in valid form.

How long does KYC verification take?

Do other users see my real name?

No. Other users see a pseudonym and, once you are verified, a “verified” badge. They never see your ID data.

What happens to my KYC data?

What is a date ad?

How many date ads can I have at the same time?

Several in parallel. We recommend 1 to 3 active ads to keep requests manageable.

What happens after a chat unlock?

The real-time chat opens and both sides communicate without further fees. Phone numbers, email addresses and messenger handles are removed automatically, so the conversation stays on Ohlala. More in the lexicon entry Real-Time Chat.

How quickly do women reply to chat requests?

Active providers typically reply within 1 to 6 hours. A fast reply increases the likelihood of a meeting.

Can I send pictures in the chat?

Yes, it’s technically possible. It’s subject to platform rules against spam, abuse and sexual content.

How long does a chat stay open?

A chat that opens when a date application is accepted stays open until two hours after the date. Other chats have no automatic closure after inactivity, so you can pick up the thread later.

Is there an app?
